When you use the coffee reading feature, the photo of your cup is sent once to our servers (Google Cloud) to detect symbols and generate your reading. The photo is kept only if you choose to save that reading, in which case it is stored in your private account and can be deleted by you at any time from within the app. Unsaved photos are not retained. Cup photos are never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used to train our AI; what the app learns from is the list of symbols it found, not your picture.
